I See Jesus Everywhere!

Do You Believe in the Trinity of God?

Jesus is God! The Second Person of the Trinity of God

The Ten Commandments:

Exodus 20: 1-4

1 And God spoke all these words:

2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 "You shall have no other gods before me.

4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Deuteronomy 6: 4 4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.

It is clearly shown by the Bible verses above, there is only one God. How do Christians ever believe in the Trinity then? How do we reconcile that with what is written in the book of John?

John 1: 1-2 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.

Why do these Bible verses above not contradict each other? I answer this question, the above two questions, and more in my book, "I See Him...I See Him! God's WORD to Witness By". What I want to accomplish in this chapter is to get those of you who believe in the Trinity of God to start thinking about God more literally than maybe most of us do. I want to show you evidence for Jesus in the Old Testament, and let you see God, perhaps in a new way when thinking about the Trinity. We do not have to wait until the New Testament to see Jesus appearing to mankind. Jesus was there from the beginning because Jesus is God!
